The witches were the midwives, the healers, the seers of the celtic lands and across Europe.
They represented the unbroken lineage of the medicine ways of these lands.
Their power and knowledge was a threat to the increasing power of the Christian church, so many of them lost their lives.
Let us offer these ones the light of our candles in honour of their deep connection with the earth and service to life.
Why am I offering this space?
To weave our prayers back into the web of the life, to remember those ones who lived a life in deep reverance to the earth and all her kin.
There is a very real grief amongst many whose ancestry lies in the celtic lands, as so many of our wisdom keepers are no longer with us.
Although we can never get back what was lost.
We can offer our gratitude for those who sung to wind, made their prayers to the rivers and wove their beauty amongst the wild flowers.

During this time together I shall hold the space to feel into the medicine of these wise ones.
Discuss the importance of connecting with those who are in the ancestral place in a whole and well way.
Lead a gentle meditation of connection with these indigenous ones of the celtic lands.
Finally offer a collective prayer down the long lines of ancestral wisdom keepers across these lands.
We shall gather together around the fire of our candles, on zoom.
